In every aspect, from start to finish, we use the latest technology and best material and fabrication processes to provide our customers with the highest quality and greatest durability in preprinted bar code labels and tags. 1D and 2D bar codes are available.

DESIGN

By using the highest level of graphics programming language available today, our bar code label designers can provide labels to suit any application. Labels can be produced in any of the standard bar code symbologies (listed below) and in either a sequential or user-specified variable format. Company logos or other required graphics can be easily incorporated into the bar code label design in a variety of colors.

IMAGING/LASERING

Aluminum bar code products are photographically imaged at resolutions of up to 2540 dpi to produce crisp, clean bar codes with high scan accuracy and reliability. All of the images are protected by the anodic surface and can endure far more abuse than conventional bar code labels.

Plastic and steel bar code products can also be lasered with high scan accuracy and reliability

MATERIAL

For bar code labels that can withstand many environments, we offer our anodized aluminum, steel and plastic products in a variety of thicknesses and colors.

ADDITIONAL FABRICATION

For label applications that require an adhesive backing, we can fabricate bar code labels individually or in a convenient strip format that allows for easy removal from the adhesive liner. Any of our bar code labels can also be fabricated with holes for attachment instead of adhesive.

PACKAGING

Individual labels are packaged in re-sealable plastic trays or bags. Consecutively numbered labels have a starting and ending number listed on each package. Variable numbered labels are delivered with a packing list describing the contents of each package.

BAR CODE TYPES

SYMBOLOGIES
COMMON USES
UPC-A
&
UPC-E
UPC (Universal Product Code) is a fixed length, numeric, continuous symbology used in the retail industry to uniquely identify a product and its manufacturer.  At Anodizing Graphics, we produce UPC film masters by using the best in imaging equipment.
EAN-8
&
EAN-13
EAN (European Article Numbering) is a variation of the U.S. based UPC symbology and is used for retail operations in international marketplaces.
Code 39
Also referred to as Code 3 of 9, this is the most widely used symbology in a variety of industries.  It is an alphanumeric, variable length, bidirectional symbology with self-checking characters and a high degree of data security.
Interleaved
2 of 5
This symbology is a high-density, continuous numeric, self-checking code that is most widely used in the shipping/distribution industry.  This normally fixed-length symbology can be printed with optional check digits and bearer bars.
Rationalized Codabar
Fully compatible with traditional Codabar, this variable length, discrete, self-checking, numeric symbology is most commonly used in blood banks, libraries, and air parcel applications.
Code 128
This is a very high density, variable length, alphanumeric symbology that offers high data security and is used where minimal bar code length is required.
2D Data Matrix This is a two-dimensional matrix bar code consisting of black and white "cells" or modules arranged in either a square or rectangular pattern. The information to be encoded can be text or numeric data.
Other
A number of other standard symbologies including Code 93, Code 49, and Code 16K are also available for printing onto our anodized aluminum products.
